I was born as a Christian who always taught to be good and be
simple in which it really guides me to become a person with dignity and a
person with strong belief in the power of one true God. And all of these years
where I already been connected in my religion, my faith began to grow and my
existence began to finds its meaning because of the Faith that I plant in my
own designed journey.
It has been 6 years of offering my 100%service to the Lord and with that 6 years of
continuing living and embracing the religion that I have, I was then feel at
ease and comfortable with my world where I choose to live my own life and my
own joy ride.
But just recently, as the month of December enters, I don’t
know what happened but I feel that my Faith starts to fall – I just came across
my line of faith and my line of survival, where the needs of my being a human
lies above rather than the needs of my own soul.
Maybe it’s a part of the process and I should give more time
to talk to my God and to spend time sharing moments with my family though my
problem involves money, I guess it’s about a time to be with them as always
because I do believed that family solves problems and family restores every
chaotic imbalance that are happening to our lives.
The deadline of my money problem will be on Monday, December
15 and I’m doing everything just to solve this problem and even if I felt that
my faith lessen, but my full trust to my savior will never fade and I stay
positive even to the midst of my personal problem. And with complete prayers,
help coming from my family and friends, this money problem will soon be done,
through the goodness that my faith will produce by the help of the Holy Spirit
and my Lord, Jesus Christ and my father, God this will be gone in just a simple
blink of an eye.
And I know that God will always be with me and to those who
believed in Him, just keep on holding and let’s survive this together.
“Life was given to us a Billion
years ago, now you know what to do with it”- Lucy
This is one of the most brilliant
phrases I ever heard in a movie and this makes “Lucy” to be the movie that
really worth your time.
There are already thousands of
movies that you can see in theatres and in tape – there are horror, suspense, action,
drama and many others and the movie Lucy already mixed all these genres that
literally I described it as an extremely powerful entertainment.
The movie “Lucy” expand the
meaning of life and expand the meaning of existence where it explains really
the reason why we have time and why we should value time, as I share this great
line in the movie; “Time proves our existence” that through time, we used to
know what life really means and why we should always take care of our time.
But with the whole smart and
intelligent conception that the movie is pointing out, for me, it still stop in
unexplainable concept of what we called as “Religion”. Because in the last part
of the movie, when Lucy reaches the 100% of her Cerebral Capacity, she
disappears and when the police officer asks the doctors/professors if where
Lucy is, Lucy, herself, reply to him in a text message saying “I’m Everywhere”
in which it clearly pointing out strongly in saying that “Lucy” is somewhat
like the concept of the Christians most powerful being and that is “God”. In
which it seems that God is the only being that possesses the 100% of the
cerebral capacity. However, there’s still a great scene in the movie where Lucy
explain some of the life point and she make the car as an example. That
according to her, the faster the car moves the higher chance that it will
disappears that no one can ever trace and sometimes even say that it didn’t
exist – that if I would evaluate it, if I believe that God got the 100%
cerebral capacity that He’s everywhere, but the fact still remains that there
are still no one, that even I, can’t prove that He really does exist.
And it was then so clear to me that the idea of
the word “Faith” started to bubble-up.
And since I started to open up
the word “Faith” I would just like to share this story, a story just before I
noticed and watched the movie, and as I recall it where it still clear in the
back of my mind about a certain idea and concept that I formulated and
distinguished for quite some time and already been shared in some of the youth
here in our place about the word “Faith”. In which I told them that, for me,
the whole universe was created because of Faith, the water, the air and even
the earth was also created because of Faith and we, the human being, was also
created because of faith – that through faith, we have God, we have religion
and we have life.
Remember, we know that apple is
an apple because we tend to believe and we tend to have faith that a red
heart-shaped fruit that taste sweet and crunchy is an apple and not a grape.
And we should also remember that through faith, we know that man is not a woman
and woman is not a man that we have differences and we have our own needs as a
different human being. That in the end, as I always tell my friends and the people
that used to listen to every words that I say that they must know their Faith
because if they will do that, there will be no doubts and no worries that will
surely goes into their system. And if you will really wear the word “Faith”,
you will easily see yourself, your needs and your capacity as a human and as a
believer.
That hopefully, everyone will see
this one great masterpiece of Luc Besson (the writer and director of the movie)
and also the lessons of the movie that the creator, the staff, the production
and the whole team wants to share with all wide of audiences that would
possibly see it in theatres or in their home that in my own conclusive point,
everyone would still end up in asking themselves; am I a believer of faith or
am I a believer of knowledge?
At the beginning of this blog, I already been mentioned the kind movie that I really like. But this time, I would give you the movie that disappoints me the most.
Just recently, the movie Annabelle was already been showing to the cinemas and right after I heard that Annabelle already reaches the Philippines, I must admit, I was one of those who truly wanted to see it on a big screen.
After a week, I was then have a chance to see the movie and I was truly disappointed - I was actually fell asleep as I watched it - Yes! I fell asleep, imagine how boring that movie is.
Why I can tell its boring? Well you can consider the following:
1. Cinematography - for me, Annabelle has a weaker cinematography than the one it was first seen in the movie "Conjuring". I would maybe love to see Annabelle if the cinematography is a little vintage (just like in Conjuring)
2. Story Telling - To be honest, at this point, I don't like how did the Director made Annabelle, the story-telling was not that clear and I could find it very normal that nothing really special on it and again, boring.
3. Plot - the plot was okay, it's just like any other things that was possessed by a demon but I tell you, "Child's Play" is a lot better than Annabelle.
4. Characters - the Characters of this movie was okay, nothing special on them most especially the lead actress. She really pissed me off! Like she ruined the whole movie. I'm not an actor or anyone who play a role in any movie but I know how to look at an actress if she really know how to act but in Annabelle lead actress case - I tell you, she really don't know how to act. Just imagined on the most terrifying scene in the movie where she was attacked by Annabelle, Oh my God! It seems that there was a lizard fell from her. She was too far from the woman who play a mother in the movie "Insidious" and "The Conjuring". How I wish any of those lead actress from the two movies was picked by the Director.
5. The whole movie itself - I don't know but this movie really disappoints me! I expect more, like I wanted to be scared more and not lying on a chair and sleep!
The reason maybe why I was so affected and disappointed its because I expect too much. And I thought the Director would do the same or do better than the masterpieces of James Wan. And one thing that really make me expect that it will be great is when I saw the name of James Wan as one of those producers.
I guess I already make myself okay now that I wrote this but no offense to the Director and the Lead Actress.

Exhausted, Tired, worn out or any adjective that would describe the exhaustion that I really feel this past week. Did you know that I've been practicing, directing, planning, organizing and casting the upcoming variety show that will be presented this coming December 22, 2014?
Yes! You read it right! I've been doing all of these things and been practicing for 8 straight days already. I really wanted to stop because I feel that I've been losing a lot of strength and creativity just to make everything right and smooth. But I just want to clarify that I'm not complaining, I'm just tired (hope you understand what I'm trying to say).
However, even if I'm super tired, I can still manage to laugh and smile because I LOVE WHAT I'M DOING. And I really mean it.
In my life now as a Youth Coordinator of our Chapel, I've been through a lot of tiredness - tired of being scold, tired of being a leader and tired of being a part of the youth ministry but again I'M NOT COMPLAINING :)
There's a lot of meetings, a lot of gathering, a lot of activities and a lot of stressful adjustments but still I choose to stay and to become a leader.
As what they say, if you follow God, you will also follow the rough road that He goes through and if God wears a crown that full of thorns, you will also wears the same but in you, it is more lighter and more smooth than God wears and walk as He take away all of the sins.
Well I must admit, if God wears a crown of thorns well me, I really can't do that but I do believe that the thorns were the problems, stress and pressures that the nature has given to me. And if God wears it bravely I'm pretty sure that I can also wears my worries lightly because I still believe that God will not gave us a problem that we can't carry. And those possible burdens that we may encounter as we go along with our journey, I'm pretty sure it will always have a time that we can avoid and eradicate these burdens.
Mmm, well, back to the variety show. Ahmm, it was really difficult for me to make new steps and moves because I really feel that it was all dumped! Like my steps were just recycled from the past intermission number that I create. To be honest, I'm really running out of idea, I don't know what to do and I don't know if I can still continue this!
But of course, I still have the guts and the faith that God will never leave me on this. And from now on, I will declare and claim that this variety show will be successful :)
So help me God :)

Right from the start, I'm a big fan of these scary and bloody movies (I just don't know why). Maybe the reason why I love horror its because I love hearing those screams from the people who are also watching behind me. I just don't know why but I really love it.
Anyways, since November 1 is fast approaching and for sure there are people now who are preparing for their Halloween costumes but here in our place, we celebrates Halloween by going into the cemetery and spend a night there to stay close with our late grandfather who die last 2009. This is not our tradition but because we always do it every year, we already used to celebrate our Halloween like this.
I think that's too much for Halloween traditions and now, I'm going to share with you my most loved and must watched horror movies this 2014 and 2015.
To start with - I'm going to give you the trailers of the movies that I loved the most :)
1. EVIL DEAD
This movie gives me a chill and thrill. Unlike with the first and original movie, the 2013 Evil Dead is something that really makes a mark to all horror addict most especially the effects and the make-up transformations of the characters. The Evil dead remake also stick on a more serious environment and this is much bloody than the original one that's why you will really feel the efforts that the production as well as the director did in the movie. And talking about the story line of the movie, the original one and the new one was of course, almost the same but there are some point where there are some twists that you will never expect. For me, if i will be going to rate this movie from 1-10, and 10 is the best well I would go for 8 :)
2. V/H/S 2
I've watched the first one but I love the sequel. V/H/S 2 is like any other point-of-view movie like Paranormal Activity but V/H/S 2 is more exciting and scared to watch. It has a different episode in one movie and each episode will surely make you feel shiver. To rate this movie, I would go for 10 :) Terrifying and super enjoy horror movie to watch, trust me :)
3. CARRIE
Carrie is totally different from the first 2 horror movies - it is lighter and more family oriented. To those who didn't know it yet, Carrie is the name of the leading lady she was one of those bullied students and she has a mother that is exaggeratedly devoted on her religion. One day, Carrie was with her fellow girl classmates taking a shower after their physical education, while taking a shower, Carrie feels something inside her that she can't explain and since that was her first menstruation, Carrie don't know what she would do and she freaks out. But instead of helping her, Carrie's classmates took a video on her while she was asking a help and it quickly spread through out the school. To make the story short, that video was the reason why Carrie started to know her power which is Telekinesis or the power of the mind to make things move by using her mind. During their Senior Night, Carrie's date was her ultimate crush in the school where the guy just forced to present himself to be the date of the young lady. As the night was going okay and perfect, the bad girl, one of the classmate of Carrie tries to ruin the night and pour the pig blood on Carrie and accidentally, the container of the pig blood detached and hit Carrie's date and he died. From that, Carrie's emotion began to explode and use her power to kill most of the people in the venue. And as she went home, Carrie immediately take a shower and look for her mom. While she was crying and hugging her mom, Carrie didn't know that her mom wants to kill her and stab her in the back. Carrie tries to escape and want that she will not hurt her mom but because her mom was too desperate of killing her, Carrie used her power again and accidentally kill her mom.
The movie Carrie was really a good movie to watch, you will learned and will be sympathized on Carrie's life. If I will be going to rate the movie, I would go for 10 :)
4. INSIDIOUS
If there's one great horror film that I've watched for the past 4 years, INSIDIOUS CHAPTER 1 AND 2 will be the top of my playlist. For me, Insidious has the most well-made horror plot and well-made horror sequel. To be honest, I appreciate more of this movie when I saw the chapter 2 but if you want to ask me if what's the scariest chapter, I would really go for Chapter 1.
To rate this movie? Well I would give 10 but if there's more than that score, I would really add more digits on that :)
5. THE ORPHAN
The Orphan is a 2009 horror/suspense/mystery movie that really scares me a lot. It is one of the most unique story that I've watched. The revelation was the best part but the earlier scenes was the most terrifying one. For young adults, this movie is really great but for those young individual this is really disturbing. To rate this movie was like Insidious, it is really more than 10 :)
MOVIES THAT I WANTED TO WATCH
1. ANNABELLE
If you watched the movie "THE CONJURING" for sure you already know Annabelle. For me, I would really love to watch this because I wanted to know more about Annabelle and why she's haunted. I'm really excited to see her :)
2. INSIDIOUS CHAPTER 3
Coming up next year is the most terrifying sequel of the movie INSIDIOUS. As I watched the trailer I guess Insidious Chapter 3 is little bit different from the first 2 chapters and what I excited the most is the new director of the movie - no other than Leigh Whannell.
3. V/H/S 3 - Viral
V/H/S 3 got also on my playlist because I really loved the first 2 chapters so, I would bet that the new will be better from the first 2 :) *cross-finger*
4. ZOMBEAVERS
I don't know but my mind says that this movie will somehow entertain me :) Hehehe
5. THE CONJURING 2
If there's a sequel that I wanted to watched "THE CONJURING" will truly catches my attention. I love WARREN family :)

Well, I'm just so excited because today, I'm going to share some of the most interesting trivia that I've learned few minutes ago! Yes! you heard it right, few minutes ago :) and I just can't wait but to blog this right away!
So, let me start first with the most recent trivia that I've learned.
Maybe, if you already read some of my blog stuff in here you would probably know that I'm a horror addict. And most of the movies that I've known are mostly the bloodiest and scariest movie that you can ever seen.
Right now, I'm going to start with this movie:
Insidious is one of my most favorite horror movie because of the plot and how did the director (James Wan) connect the 1st and 2nd chapter.
Talking about the Trivia that I've learned, did you know that Insidious 3 will be directed by one of the original cast? If you are familiar with Specs, one of the psychic guy of Elise ( the old woman who helped the Lambert family) but if you are not familiar with him, you can take a look at this photo:

Specs, or Leigh Whannel will be the next director of the most terrifying movie sequel - Insidious Chapter 3.
Another Trivia that I really find so interesting is the location of the 2nd installment of the movie : Insidious Chapter 2.
If you can recall on the 2nd chapter of the movie, there was one scene in there where mother of Josh Lambert, Lorraine, together with the paranormal investigators headed by Carl and with Elise's two loyal psychics, Specs and Tucker, to know the real story why Josh was haunted by the unknown ghost. In that scene, there was a hospital where the haunted story begins and the name of that hospital in the movie was "Our Lady of Angels" and did you know that hospital was the most known haunted hospital in Los Angeles, California, the Linda Vista Community Hospital.
For some, there's nothing extravagant or extra-interesting about Linda Vista Community Hospital but for me, it is really interesting because last night as I watched the season of Ghost Adventures, I found out this:
And with the episode that I've seen, that was the second time where Nick enters the hospital and with his first encounter, he was surprised and terrified when the apparition of a woman appears just in front of his face (hopefully I can find and share that episode in here)and on the second time that they enter the said hospital, the crew together with Nick, Aaron and Zak wanted to talked with the ghosts remained in that hospital because they've heard that Lind Vista will soon become an apartment. But before the episode ended, the fact still remains that Linda Vista Community Hospital is still haunted.
And the last interesting trivia that I've learned today is in this movie:
I know that everyone knows and already watched SAW. Well, the interesting fact that I've learned is that, James Wan, Director of Insidious Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 was the first director of SAW. And Leigh Whannell, is also be found in that movie.
This is really a surprising fact for me and with all of this Trivia, I conclude something and that is - I would really become a horror/suspense director and someday, James Wan and Leigh Whannell will become my best of friends (hahaha How i wish ).

I thought, I already found
myself who’s always focus on the goals that I set for myself long time ago, but
I was wrong.
I thought, my faith is that
strong enough, to know the purpose that God wants me to follow even before. But
again, I was wrong.
And lastly I thought, I already
started my life when I finally know the world where I lived in. But sad to say,
I was really wrong.
Youth Encounter transformed
me from being simple into a more responsible man, and it changes me from being
a good follower into a more faithful one. It literally gave me the true and factual
realization that I was still incomplete and curtailed.
Before, I thought I already known
the deepest person that’s living inside my body but I just realized that everything
has been very superficial because right after the “encounter” – I was terrified
and also excited, that I finally felt that real transformation that I’ve been
looking for a long period of time.
“Today my Life Begins” – this
song was originally sung by Bruno Mars and this is one of my favorite because
of the message that simply say, the reality of life are can be seen outside
anyone’s comfort zone and for us to become strong is to welcome all of the
challenges that comes into our lives. And as I compare the lyrics to my
personal experience during the Youth Encounter, maybe some of you, who are reading
this, can also reflect on the points that I wanted to share.
And now, you will be reading
some of the lines that straightly hit me not only as a man but most of all as
youth who currently serving the Lord.
“I've been working hard so long
seems like pain has been my only friend
my fragile heart's been done so wrong
I wondered if I'd ever heal again
ohh just like
all the seasons never stay the same
all around me i can feel a change (ohh)”
As I
compare the Y.E to the first two paragraph, it’s really have a connection
because before you will experience the Youth Encounter, all of those negative emotions
and negative feelings that roaming around your system will slowly disappears and
when you started the first 2 sessions, it is then that you will feel the change
that’s soothing into your body and you can’t escaped from it.
“I will break these
chains that bind me, happiness will find me
leave the past behind me, today my life begins
a whole new world is waiting it's mine for the taking
I know I can make it, today my life begins”
That is the chorus.
In comparison with the chorus of the
song and my Y.E experience, well, all those chains that trapped and grasp my
nerves because of the problems and trials that I’m facing, was suddenly
converted into something useful that I can apply to myself, and for me to be
prepared on how to break those chains, I must continue and listen very
carefully on the wisdom and knowledge that our facilitator wants me to take
note and apply.
And lastly,
“Life's
too short to have regrets
so I'm learning now to leave it in the past and try to forget
only have one life to live
so you better make the best of it”
This
line is my favorite. As it stated, Life is too short to have regrets, and so,
if you have a chance and the opportunity to be a part of the Youth Encounter,
then grab it and I’m pretty sure your life will change and all of your visions
will finally fall into its places where success is excitedly waiting for you.
Thus,
Youth Encounter will not only help and mold you spiritually, because the
program was basically made for those people who are in the midst of their
broken path. Your time, your effort and your presence will not be wasted as
long as you are willing to offer yourself, lean your ears and open your eyes to
the possible experience that you will encounter. And it is by then, that you
will see, talk and touch God at your own bared senses.
